These lines are in essence still provided, installed and supported by Telkom, we simply provide this service to enable our customers to pay for both their bandwidth and ADSL line rental through a single point of contact.

For any of these offerings, you require a compatible Telkom telephone line - check your line for compatibility.

*The prices for these ADSL offerings are subject to change and are depended on the pricing structure employed by Telkom, bandwidth is not provided as part of any line offering unless it is a bundled solution. Only 1 concurrent connection per bandwidth account is allowed on these packages.

Understanding our uncapped solutions:

  • Uncapped ADSL pricing is based on the line speed accessing the service as this determines the maximum potential usage on any particular account.
  • Further to this, these uncapped accounts can only be used from one concurrent location other than the 4 concurrent connections provided as standard by our other ADSL services.
  • We also steer clear from those very cheap uncapped solutions available locally for very good reasons.
  • We recommend that you perform an ADSL line speed test on your line to determine what uncapped package will suit your needs.
  • You will receive full line speed speeds up to the speed of the uncapped package chosen - in other words, if you only have a 1 mbps ADSL line there is no need for you to purchase an uncapped account with larger capacity.
  • We advise to use home uncapped packages for home use only due to speed degradation that will occur from time to time with excessive use.
  • Business uncapped is unshaped and have no prioritization of any traffic meaning it's a faster connection.
  • MTN Business based accounts are month to month.
